Logan Steel receives $1.078m for Meriden business expansion

May 27, 2016---The Connecticut State Bond Commission approved a $1.078m loan package for Logan Steel, located at 119 Empire Avenue, Meriden CT.   State funds will be used to revitalize and reuse a large, commercial site, support Logan's business expansion, and help bring new economic activity to Meriden.

In 2015, the City of Meriden supported their move by awarding Logan Steel $15,000 from the Meriden Manufacturing Assistance Program (MMAP) for reimbursement of eligible expenses related to the company’s relocation to 119 Empire Ave. The owners plan to consolidate its business operations at the Empire Ave. facility and operate their metals manufacturing, sandblasting, and retail store from the new location.
