Meriden 2020, Bringing It Together

Meriden 2020 Campaign Recognized for Creative Excellence

Meriden 2020 Campaign and CERC Recognized for Creative Excellence by Ad Club of CT and PRSA

Honors Bestowed for Work with City of Meriden, CT Insurance Dept., and Eversource Energy

The Connecticut Economic Resource Center (CERC) received accolades from the Ad Club of Connecticut and the Connecticut Valley, Southern Connecticut and Westchester-Fairfield County Chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at recent award ceremonies that recognize outstanding work in marketing and communications.

At the Ad Club of Connecticut Awards Competition, CERC was recognized for a series of billboards created for the City of Meriden. CERC, with partners Don Wilson Inc. and Liz Panke, developed a “Meriden2020” logo along with the tagline “Bringing It. Together.” Using the new brand with the theme “In Our Meriden,” the billboards (seen on I-91 South) promote the community’s assets, such as business, education, recreation and transportation, as well as local events, like the Farmer’s Market and Daffodil Festival.

“CERC is a unique entity that supports initiatives to create a better economic environment in Connecticut,” said Kristiana Sullivan, Vice President of Marketing at CERC. “We strive to help our local, regional and state clients also make a positive contribution to the state, and appreciate the recognition for these efforts.”
