PUBLIC COMMENT REVIEW PERIOD & PUBLIC HEARING

DRAFT PY45 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (2019)

CARES ACT AMENDMENT (CDBG-CV3)

NOTICE is given that a CARES Act Amendment to the City of Meriden’s PY45 2019 Annual Action Plan (AAP) will be available for a five (5) day public review and comment period.  Notice is also given that a public hearing will be held to discuss and review the amendment to the AAP. The AAP has been amended to include CDBG-CV3 grant funds.

 

The CARES Act Amendment with CDBG-CV3 is the second amendment to the PY45 AAP. This amendment adds an additional $397,684 in CDBG-CV3 funds for a combined total of $1,045,687 of CARES Act CDBG-CV funds to be used for eligible activities that prevent, prepare for and respond to COVID-19.  The amendment to the AAP outlines the use of CARES Act funds and activities that address the needs of individuals and families who are low- and moderate-income or persons with special needs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Meriden. 

 

Public Comment Period: The plan will be available to review from June 23, 2021 to June 29, 2021, and is available online at www.meridenct.gov, or at the Community Development Office, Room 134, 142 East Main Street, Meriden, CT 06450. Written comments may be submitted to ldiaz@meridenct.gov or be delivered to the Community Development Office.

 

Public Hearing: The City will hold a virtual public hearing on June 29, 2021 at 5:00 PM to discuss and review the plan.  To attend the public hearing, visit the City’s website, https://www.meridenct.gov/.
